An ambitious new food hall coming to downtown Minneapolis' LaSalle Plaza
Jul 11th, 2025 - MINNEAPOLIS, MN
A new ambitious food hall project is hoping to help speed up a Downtown Minneapolis revival.
Patricia Wall, the visionary behind Malcolm Yards, will be at the helm of the $10-$20 million food hall project at LaSalle Plaza.
It's a collaboration with Hempel Real Estate that Wall says will turn the former Rock Bottom Brewery into a culinary hub. It will boast 10-12 diverse kitchens and multiple bars, with a theme that celebrates Minneapolis culture.
"We have so much history in downtown Minneapolis, that we want to speak to that history through our design and talk about Minneapolis in the past, present and future so it has some relevance," explains Wall.
